The New Initiatives team work in partnership with Arena Group development team, tailoring project management and operational expertise to each development. The team also partners with local authorities, PCT’s, regulators and service users to deliver jointly objectives and the highest outcomes.

Retirement Living
Heyeswood, Haydock – flagship new build extracare development opened September 2009. It has 92 self contained one and two bed apartments and communal facilities.
Brookside,
Ormskirk
– a successful Lancashire County Council, Department of Health bid, of 111 self contained one and two bed apartments with community health facilities and day centre, which is new build, on site and due for handover early 2012.
Housing with Care
Millachip Court,
Liverpool - a Department of Health funded scheme, modernising an existing sheltered housing service to build and develop new extracare accommodation. The third phase (8 new build two bed bungalows) is was completed October 2010.
Parkhaven,
Maghull – a partnership project with Parkhaven Trust, and Sefton Borough Council, which will be managed by Parkhaven Trust. This 'housing with care' scheme has 24 self contained apartments, specialising in dementia care, is due to complete in December 2010.
Supported Housing
The Reach, Warrington - 11 self contained apartments and 2 two bed bungalows with 24 hour support, for Warrington Borough Council, working with Adult Social Care. The scheme was handed over in early July 2011.
