Arena Future Ltd is a social enterprise which provides training and employment opportunities for local residents. It ensures that the economic and social opportunities arising from the activities of the Arena Group are utilised for the benefit of residents. Our driving aims are:

Residents – Will be at the heart of what we do. We are committed to reducing worklessness in the areas where Arena Group works by extending the range of low entry level training and employment opportunities available to residents through the provision to Group members of a range of housing related services. We are also committed to build on our success in providing low cost furniture by using Group expertise to help us to develop procurement mechanisms which will enable tenants and residents to access a range of quality goods and services at low prices

Growth - our aim in the short term is to develop a social business which delivers a range of services to Group members and uses the savings made on vat to support the recruitment, training and employment of local people currently disadvantaged in the labour market. In the longer term we will seek to offer these services to others within the geographic area covered by the Group.

People – we are committed to investing in and developing our staff and our trainees. We want them to be committed to our aims and to have the capacity and capability to deliver services which meet customer expectations. We also want them to be flexible, happy and well prepared to take up future employment and development opportunities

Environment – Future will continue to reduce landfill by recycling furniture and a priority for business development will be an extension of services designed to maintain attractive neighbourhoods and prevent environmental degradation
