Housing Benefit, if you receive Housing Benefit, you can arrange for it to be paid directly to your landlord by contacting your Local Authority. Please make sure that the amount is enough to cover the full amount of rent and service charges. If it isn't you will need to pay the difference using one of the other methods.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your claim with Housing Benefit is renewed at the appropriate time, to provide the relevant documentation to assist your claim, and to inform the Local Authority of any changes in your circumstances that may affect the amount that you are entitled to.
