Arena has a set Rent Arrears procedure, which is based on a firm but fair system. However, rent arrears are considered a serious problem and may result in you losing your home.

We have a dedicated Income Management Team that provides expert advice at every stage of the procedure.  If your rent account falls into arrears, we will agree a way forward with you so you can clear the debt by paying a realistic amount within a reasonable period of time.

As well as helping you to stay in your home we have a duty to protect the rights of other residents.

Whilst every effort will be made to avoid it, where a resident has persistent arrears and refuses to co-operate, we will be forced to take the appropriate legal action and this could result in you losing your home.
