| Heathergreen Court is a HAT site in Walton. Tenants, the majority of whom are elderly chose Arena as their preferred new landlord. Work is ongoing and eventually will lead to the provision of 62 new homes and community facilities. |
| Heatherlow Towers/Walton Park Gardens |
| Arena has recently been chosen to become the developer/future landlord for this HAT site in Walton. We are working closely with residents to re-develop the site providing around 110 new homes, a community facility and flexible support for older people. |
| Adlington House and Bispham House |
| HAT residents of these two tower blocks in the city centre chose us to undertake a full refurbishment and provide a new community facility. |
| Project Orchid, Old Swan |
| Arena's Project Orchid scheme in Old Swan has created 133 new homes replacing former tenement flats. This will complement new shopping facilities creating a modern environment. The project includes May Place, a sheltered housing scheme, which received national recognition for its excellence in design and management. |
| Brookvale, Halton |
| In 1989 Arena acquired 1,000 former new town homes following a ballot of tenants. We successfully undertook a major refurbishment programme. In addition Arena has provided a community centre, staff and worked to develop an IT training facility for local residents. |
| Fieldway Court, Birkenhead |
| At Fieldway Court, following a positive vote by former council tenants to choose Arena as their new landlord, refurbishment works to tenants' flats are now complete. |
| Bootle Village, Sefton |
| Arena, with the support of residents, Bootle Maritime City Challenge and Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council, has redeveloped former 1960's designed maisonettes to provide over 50 new homes. |
| Everton Gardens, Liverpool |
| Council tenants of the run down Gleave Square flats chose Arena working in partnership with the Housing Corporation to produce 54 new homes at a cost of £2.7million. A training programme was undertaken out of which developed an Estate Agreement for the new estate renamed Everton Gardens. On this project we worked in partnership with Wimpeys who built homes for sale. |
| Northfield Housing Co-op, Kirkby |
| The Co-op chose Arena to build and manage their new homes, these were completed less than three years after the Co-op was set up. |
| Cromarty Road, Old Swan |
| Arena was chosen out of five Associations by the tenants and owner occupiers of Cromarty Road to assist in replacing their system built homes. |
| Leasowe Community Homes (LCH) |
| Following one of the best turnouts in the voting process for stock transfers, the 1100 homes on the Leasowe Estate in Wirral were transferred to a new subsidiary company of Arena, Leasowe Community Homes (LCH). With the assistance of funds from the Estate Renewal Challenge Fund, LCH and Arena are investing over £20million on the estate, renovating the existing homes and providing new shopping, community and leisure facilities. We have started Year 3 of the major improvement works programme. Part of the regeneration programme for Leasowe includes the completion and opening of the Millennium Centre. This is a community facility which has been part-funded by Arena, providing a wide range of facilities. |
| Sefton Park, Liverpool |
| In 2003 Liverpool HAT tenants chose Arena as their preferred Landlord to manage 5 of the multi storey blocks in Sefton Park and oversee their refurbishment. In November 2004 Liverpool City Council tenants in Sefton Park voted to transfer to Arena with the Liverpool HAT tenants and Sefton Park Housing Committee has been created to oversee the management all of the Arena properties in Sefton Park (approx 800). |
