As you know the New Beginnings and The Handyperson Service closed at the end of March 2011 after seven years providing support services to older people.
 
The Handyperson Service may return later this year so please keep checking the local press or ring Liverpool City Council 0151 233 3000 for information about when, where and who will be operating it.

There is also information about Poppy Calls, a handyperson service for people with connections to the British Legion.
 
Further services are also available via Age Concern (Liverpool & Sefton) who offer support and assistance when needed.  They can offer advice and guidance from experts.  Age Concern is a charity which supports older people in Liverpool and Sefton.
