Development..Arena’s Development department is involved in a range of construction and regeneration projects across the North West. We work with a range of communities and clients to deliver high quality new and refurbished homes to meet a variety of different needs.
In February 2008 the Housing Corporation announced 'the first £3.3 billion investment of the Housing Corporation's £8.4 billion National Affordable Housing Programme (NAHP) for 2008-11'.

The Engage 360 Partnership of which Arena is the Lead RSL, has been allocated over £30 million of grant funding to provide over 730 new homes, of which Arena was awarded £16.7m to provide 455 new homes.
 
The highlights of the allocation which will deliver a mixed portfolio of new homes are:-

117 homes to be funded within Anfield including an Extra Care Retirement Village 

A further 2 Extra Care Retirement Villages at Helsby and Chester (116 homes) are to be funded

Tung Sing will provide 6 rented homes in Trafford on land already in our ownership.

We will be building 81 new rented homes in Warrington across 4 sites.

A rural scheme of 14 homes for rent and shared ownership sale will be funded in Cheshire.

We will be providing 61 homes with care and support in St Helens, Sefton and Warrington.

We will be working once again with West Lancashire and Halton BC to provide rented and shared ownerships schemes respectively.
