Providing Better Homes, Building Better Lives Strapline Image

Protecting The Vulnerable. Some people, especially young women and their children, need accommodation, support and, possibly, protection from domestic violence. Arena manages a number of 'lodges' for homeless families facing such situations, as well as the, affectionately named, 'Our House' mother and baby unit in Rock Ferry on the Wirral, which has gained national recognition in the provision of quality support to young, vulnerable women.

The Vulnerable Tenants Support Scheme (VTSS) in Warrington extends the provision of support to non-Arena residents, who are either in their own home or who are moving into a new home. Whether vulnerable due to age, an addictive illness, learning difficulties or because they have just left care or an institution, the aim of the VTSS is to ensure they receive the tailored support they need, to ensure they can successfully continue living independently.
